alfter slowly progressing for a while i can acrualy produce my first close up of a model without retching every time i see it.

well i recently piced up a haul of epic from my long lost uncle (he wasn't realy long lost, but my dad was addopted and i hadn't met him yet) who used to play 40k. he said "he's hous was cluttered with crap" and he needed to get rid of some so he gave me 1500pts of tau, tonnes of epic, some marines and some old(ish) dark eldar.

i was searchin through my crap when i decided i needed some rippers.
i looked in my epic box and here they were.

12 genestealers (finished but painted old colour)
1 broodlord (space hulk, finished)
8 ymgarl genestealers (almost finished)
13 termagaunts (finished, some no bases)
1 tyranid prime (finished, painted old colour)
6 spore mines
so as you can see i have a lot to do.

welcome to Hive Fleet Brontide (thunder in the distance: ties in with the fact that tyranids look like clouds from far away), a blog about my warhammer 40k army of tyranids.

background info:
i grew up in a town near tamworth in australia and am now living in wagga wagga
my local 40k club is one of the most sucsess full and wide spreading in australia, the wagga  wagga 40k social club based in kapooka (HQ), newcastle, hurstvill, packapunyal and tindal.
my nids are dark green whith blue and white carapace and yellow fleshbitz.
and finaly no, i dont believe that tyranids are dinosaurs THEY ARE BUGZ!!!
